Workout of the Day 3/8/18


3 snatch, pausing at the hip
8 min EMOM
Think of the pause as the end of a snatch deadlift. The arms are still straight and the legs are doing all of the work, until the bar contacts the hip and then the hips can open and arms can start to pull. Weight will stay fairly light.

2 rounds
1 minute bike
:30 rest
1 min alternating DB snatch
:30 rest
1 min toes to bar
:30 rest
1 min plank
:30 rest

If you are not doing the Open workout on Friday, you can hit these intervals hard. If you are working out Friday, it’s OK to lower the intensity and use this as a primer for tomorrow.
